Normally, the Polity based questions are asked from the following fields:

1) Current Events based
2) Pure Constitution based
3) Organisation based
4) Name of the leaders
5) Posts & Powers
6) Important years
7) Law based acts and years
8) Leaders and their Achievements

Hence, the candidates are advised that they should well equiped with Constitution of India(Chapterwise, Articlewise) and must know the current events and also its impacts.

They must know the details about Presidents, Vice Presidents, Prime Ministers etc.. (Year, Tenure, special Achievements etc) and about Organisations like Planning Commission, finance commission, NDC etc...
